We here at NSR/USA honor the passing of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi on February 5, 2008.

Maharishi was a great man who translated the ancient Vedic knowledge of India into an effective technique for the modern world, a world so drenched in stress that suffering and limitation are accepted as normal in daily life.

Although we have profound differences with the direction Maharishi has taken his movement in recent years, we are eager to set those differences aside. We invite Maharishi's Global Country of World Peace, the other organizations founded by Maharishi, and indeed all other spiritual and self-help organizations to join with us in setting aside all activities that alienate the population and in returning to the effective propagation of the knowledge of effortless transcending to the entire world.

The world needs to live without stress, without suffering. It deserves this knowledge now, without further delay.
